Sizzle, Chisel & Chill
SIZZLE: After a full body warm up and core activation you will be led through 10-15 minutes of short burst (20-40 seconds) of high intensity cardio work followed by brief rest periods to recover.
CHISEL: 10-15 min. of resistance exercises to build muscular endurance and ignite your metabolism.
CHILL: A relaxing stretch and mobility series to bring your hormone levels back in balance

Human Reformer Pilates
A new take on an old classic, this mat-based class mimics the strength benefits of using a Pilates Reformer, with the ease of being on the floor and the benefit of using your own resistance and stability.
Pilates is a classic for a reason, with the Core Foundations highlighting Breath, Concentration, Control, Precision, Centering and Control

Circuit Training
This classic strength based class will mix and match upper body and lower body exercises to create a full body workout to improve tone and build strength.
Every class begins with a standard warm up, a brief overview of the exercises, 10-15 strength exercises, followed by a stretch and release to leave you feeling energized.

Relax and recover from a your workouts with a yin yoga class. This a gentle yoga class conducted at a slower pace than other yoga classes, where each pose is held longer for deeper release of tension and tightness in the body. You will learn to reconnect the body with the breath, using the breath to help release stress in the body and the mind.
You will leave class feeling lighter, more open and relaxed. All levels are welcome. Bring a mat, and an optional blanket or bolster if preferred.

This yoga-inspired class focuses on restoring whole-body function through fascia informed movement, breath, and coordination. Your body doesn't work in isolated muscles, it works as an integrated responsive system, so let's train that way.
You don't need to be flexible, and you don't need to be pain-free to join. Beginner friendly.

This class will give you exactly what is says, a core and butt blasting workout to improve muscle tone and endurance and make your stronger and more confident.

A modern twist on low-impact aerobics in a non-stop, action-packed
mix of cardio and toning tracks to take your fitness to the next level. This no-equipment
format uses simple, set choreography to create an effective steady-state cardio
workout. LOW is easy to follow and a total blast! Adaptable to all levels of fitness, you
can go low, but you will always leave feeling HIGH!

With 30+ years in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and healthy lifestyle coach Katarina brings passion, education and fun into every class she leads.
Katarina moved to Youngstown, NY in 2012, and so excited to be serving this community!
She loves cats, dogs, husband and children. She can't wait to have you join her in a workout!

8 years as a fitness instructor beginning my journey by first becoming a certified Les Mills Body Combat instructor in 2016, teaching in various places in WNY and then becoming a certified AFAA group fitness instructor in 2017.
Aside from my fitness background, I hold a 5th degree (Master Rank) Black Belt in the United Fighting Arts Federation Chuck Norris System and I'm an independent wrestler under the moniker T.J. Kartz.
Willing to deliver a sweat blasting class full of fun and comedy.

I know life gets chaotic, so I find wherever I can to ground and reconnect. I love being a part of my community. We are all family, friends and neighbors.
I got certified to teach so I can share the love of this practice in hopes that you get as much out of it as I do.

I was first introduced to yoga as a teenager, regularly watching a yoga program on my local PBS station. I developed a passion for teaching in 2012 when I completed a 300-hour yoga teacher training at World Peace Yoga in Cincinnati, Ohio and have been teaching ever since. I am certified to teach multiple styles of Hatha Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation and am attuned to Levels I & II Reiki. My teaching style incorporates elements of intention, breath, and movement, focusing on the connection between body and spirit.
I love sharing what I have learned in my wellness journey and look forward to working with you at Legacy X Fitness!

I've been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 27 years. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.Ed. in Health Education. I am the creator of Curvy Girl Weight Loss where I help women unlearn decades of bad diet advice and instead focus on simple nutrition, gentle fitness, and behavior shifts to transform your body and your life.
I'm a busy mom of 4 kids, I LOVE to read, I used to hate exercise and I've spent a lifetime trying to make movement accessible to other women who feel intimated or uncomfortable in a gym.

Frequently Asked Questions
This class was built with women in mind! What do women need? To build muscle. What do women want? To burn fat. I decided to give you both in one convenient class. We will spend the first part of class on targeted strength moves for your large muscle groups. Then we will spend time bring your heart rate up for low impact interval training. I’ll leave you feeling amazing after a full body stretch and recovery session.

Both classes will use body weight exercises as well as resistance bands that I will provide. The only equipment you will need to bring is your mat, and ideally a water bottle.
Absolutely! As an experienced trainer I have extensive knowledge in scaling exercises for many abilities. I will guide you through different modifications to make the exercises both more difficult and more manageable. You will need to be able to get up and down from the floor. As always, clearance from your doctor to exercise is recommended.

I know not everyone is comfortable jumping, so I always make any jumping optional and will offer choices in the program design. The main focus I have in every class is to give you a great workout, and to make sure you are safe and injury free!

If you can't commit to the entire session you are welcome to join us at the drop-in rate of $18 per class. Drop-ins can be purchased at the time of the class as space is available, it's recommended that you call or text Tani at 716.467.7011 to inquire about space.
